Our WINTER 2009 Living Room Tour routing and scheduling is almost finished.
It's taking me awhile to route it and put the itinerary together because we've been incredibly busy the past few weeks with SMITHEREENS tour/Show dates, as well as recording and working on several new solo and SMITHEREENS projects simultaneously.
So those of you who are onboard for a tour date, thanks for your patience & kindness, we're almost there and you will be happy...
There isn't much in the way of SMITHEREENS and solo concert dates left this year, but things begin to pick up in January 2009 with our yearly SMITHEREENS winter concert dates in NYC (BB KINGS), Annapolis (RAMS HEAD), and Falls Church, Virginia (STATE THEATRE) -
We have also added a new yearly (hopefully, with your help!) show in Philadelphia at the WORLD CAFE LIVE to round out one of the weekends.
Anyway, we very much look forward to seeing all of you again at these once-yearly get-togethers!
My solo Living Room Tour beings the first week in January 2009 (and is punctuated by SMITHEREENS concerts in January and February) and continues non-stop through February and March 2009 -
It should be quite an adventure, to say the least!

JANUARY 27TH, 2009-
"SMITHEREENS LIVE IN CONCERT" Full-Length Concert DVD (KOCH)
This is the live video counterpart (A 5-camera shoot) to our recently-released CD "THE SMITHEREENS LIVE IN CONCERT", which was recorded at our old stomping grounds, THE COURT TAVERN, in New Brunswick, NJ.
I have seen this footage and it looks pretty amazing...
"MEET THE SMITHEREENS"/"B-SIDES THE BEATLES" 12" Audiophile Vinyl 2-Disc Gatefold Deluxe LPs Release (KOCH)
This is BOTH of our two recent BEATLES TRIBUTE CDs in 12" Audiophile Vinyl packaged together in one collectible fold out/gatefold sleeve/package, and there is also talk that comic legend Jack Davis (MAD MAGAZINE & EVERYTHING ELSE!) might be personally signing/autographing the "B-SIDES" cover he did for us...

Me on vocals with acoustic guitar and real string quartet doing some very unique interpretations of my favorite BUDDY songs, and commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the passing of one of my rock and roll heroes and favorite songwriters.

MARCH 24TH, 2009-
AT LONG LAST, IT'S A BRAND-NEW SMITHEREENS ORIGINAL ALBUM/CD (THE 1ST ALL-NEW ORIGINAL COMPOSITIONS/RECORDINGS STUDIO CD IN TEN YEARS!)(KOCH)
This is being written in November (NOW) and will be recorded in New Jersey in December 2008!
HERE IT COMES!!
MAY 5TH, 2009-
THE SMITHEREENS DO "TOMMY" (KOCH)-
This is our take/interpretation of one of our favorite albums by one of our favorite bands ever, THE WHO, in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of its original release in 1969!
We are doing a one-disc abbreviated "Live At Leeds"-styled version of "TOMMY"...
It's a really rocking, much more aggressive and tougher-sounding studio version of "TOMMY". The basic tracks are already done, and it sounds GREAT!
Then our SMITHEREENS TOUR DATES Season commences, usually in late April, early May, and we're "off to the races" again...
